MESA Rosette® 300 / Two:Eight Acoustic Combo – Gretchen Menn & Daniele Gottardo – Gypsy Swing

The Rosette® Acoustic combo brings a new level of detail, warmth and accuracy to the world of acoustic amplification. Highlighting that clarity & fullness (and the smooth Reverb of the Rosette’s onboard effects), the duo of Gretchen Menn and Daniele Gottardo played Rosette 300 combos in the style of gypsy swing.

Gretchen played a Stephen Strahm Eros acoustic with DiMarzio Angel pickup while the Rosette was mic’d with a Royer Stereo XY, an AEA R84 Ribbon Mic, and the Rosette Channel 1 DI Output. Mixed with approximately 40% Royer, 30% AEA and 30% DI with mastering for optimized levels.

Daniele played a Sadowsky Electric Nylon guitar with Barbera bridge piezo, mic’d with a Royer Stereo XY, an AEA R44 Ribbon Mic, and the Rosette Channel 1 DI Output. Mixed with approximately 40% Royer, 30% AEA and 30% DI with mastering for optimized levels.
