Gale Force vs Method - GRAND FINAL - Universal Open Rocket League Grand Finals

NBC and FACEIT team up to bring you the most intense 2v2 Rocket League tournament to date!

The event is an open tournament where any player above the age of 13 is eligible to enter. Those who wish to compete for the prize pool of $100,000 can put their names in at FaceIt’s official website.

The qualifiers for the tournament will be divided into two parts, the regional qualifiers at city locations and the open qualifiers, where all matches will be played online. The open qualifiers will be for players who can’t or don’t want to travel to a regional qualifier.

The regional qualifiers start Tuesday and end July 27, and the top four teams in select cities in each region will qualify for the regional finals. Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic qualifiers will be for the East Regional, New York and New England qualifiers will be for the Northeast Regional, the Chicago qualifier will be for the Midwest Regional, and Northwest and Bay Area qualifiers will be for the West Regional. The open qualifier will take place next Wednesday, with the top eight qualifying for the Open Regional.

The regional finals will take place from Aug. 5-13 in studios at the four selected cities (Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco) and broadcast on the NBC Sports regional networks. The Open Regional will be played July 28 with the top four teams reaching the grand finals.

The 16-team grand finals take place Aug. 26-27 at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, California. The event will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network in the United States and Syfy in the UK, Germany, Australia and multiple Latin American countries.
