Spider-Man: Flash Thompson Will Join The MCU As Agent Venom

Flash Thompson is a big bully. No matter how many times we’ve seen him in the Spider-Man movies, he always just seems there to torture Peter Parker while simultaneously loving Spider-Man. If only he knew that his greatest hero was the kid who he loves to pick on in school right? The problem with Flash as a character is that it’s always the same thing. I think it’s time to switch things up a bit and give his character something to do, which is why Agent Venom needs to appear in the MCU.

For those that don’t know, Agent Venom is Flash Thompson’s alter ego.In the comics, Flash goes to war where he’s horribly injured and loses his legs. But thanks to Project Rebirth 2.0, he’s fused with the Venom symbiote and becomes his own super soldier. Now that’s a radical departure from both the Flash character and the Venom character that we’ve seen so far, but that’s exactly why the MCU should bring this plot development to the forefront. The Sonyverse currently has dibs on Eddie Brock and Venom, so why doesn’t the MCU use this time to explore Agent Venom. It would certainly be an interesting development and really shake things up!
