Tonight we are having Fruit Bearing Conversations with Filmmaker Ricardo D Bates. Ricardo is a firm believer that being of service to others is the cornerstone to making a difference. In his role as an Assistant Principal at a HS in Houston, he gains fulfillment from serving and seeing the evolution of his teachers and students. Also, he’s an award-winning filmmaker, where his films have premiered on Amazon and have been included in several film festivals. His latest documentary, Fruit, was acquired by PBS and will premiere this month. He’s the owner of Batehouse Productions, a multimedia company, that focuses on expanding the brands of companies through a visual way.
