Woodturning - Crotch log into a hole bowl !! 木工旋盤でハゼノキから穴あき花瓶を作る！

I started activities to regenerate trees that were cut for various reasons.

In this video, a woodlathe is used to create a bowl from wax tree log by woodturning.
Lacquer has the image of rough hands when touched, but dry wood does not roughen hands and its stem color is unique.

様々な理由により切られた木の再生する活動を小さくではありますが始めました。

この動画で使っている木はウルシ科のハゼノキです。
切られてから随分日が経っていたようで、十分乾燥した物は触れても被れないと聞いたので、頂いてきて木工旋盤でボウルのようなオブジェを製作しました。
