Working in Third Trimester | 31 Weeks Pregnant

As much as I wanted to stay at home during my pregnancy, I have decided to continue working as long as possible for reasons of finance, social pressure, and boredom. I have no intentions on working again until 3 months postpartum or maybe even longer, so why not save now. Also, my Doctor says without complications they do not write notes for light duty or early maternity leave, and they want you to work until 1 day before your due date. I had no clue that this was how the system worked before I was pregnant, so that was an awesome (sarcasm) surprise.

American and modern culture would have you believe that working while pregnant is not only natural, but an obligation. I am here to say that working during the first trimester and third trimester went against every natural instinct in my body. (Second Trimester was lovely, and most of my shifts, I forgot I was carrying a child. Which is also dangerous). I was lucky enough (sarcasm) to have a completely standing, walking, lifting, bending, and customer service job which was a small taste of hell. In this video, I tell you how I survived.
