One fine night, I was near Uluru also known as Ayers Rock, star gazing the already popular and beautiful night sky, while the idea and inspiration of creating this video struck me.

Following three factors are behind creation of this video.
1) Amber, the Color
2) The Stars
3) अम्बर meaning Sky( in Hindi)..
Please read on to learn how it all relates with each other.

At specific times of the day, land and Uluru appears to be Amber colored. Crack of Sunrise, and fall of light around sunset renders the scene gleaming orange and gold as Spinifex, the local plants that form major portion of the landscape, glows resembling embers.
After darkness takes over, million stars and Milky way decoration in the beautiful and majestic and crystal clear, massive night sky takes your
attention at the center stage.. Each star is visible so bright and sharp, emanating light like sparks of fire.

In Hindi (my mother language), the word अम्बर means Sky, is very similar to be spoken Amber written in English.

Considering the above 3, filming of this video began on 12th July 2015, and last sequence was filmed on 22nd August 2015. Must say, I have a special interest in night sky, which you will notice in the video.
Some sequences in the video show stars trailing and they appear as raining. If human eyes could see it happening, it will be amazing to watch. Unfortunately we cant see it that way, Luckily advanced cameras these days can record the trail pattern of the stars and with help of specialist software's the revolving and trailing motion of stars can be recorded and seen.
This whole period of filming was hard as working as a full time Chef, and still chasing weather around the clock is never easy, Harsh climate makes it worse, as few nights I had to brave temperatures as low as 1 degree Celsius. Sleeping in car, while camera took sequential images for video, became normal on countless nights. Fatigued and under slept, I was drained of energy on many days at my normal full time job.
But its all a small price for a passionate hobby I took up only about a year ago.

A sincere thanks to the Anangu People, the traditional owners of the sacred land for sharing this place with us.

Embers is my 2nd only major time lapse production. I still have a lot to learn and practice.
Music in the video is composed by Jonathan Wright.
