✝️ The True Story -
💜 How Megatron Met My Mom, Jeannine...

🦋My mom, Jeannine, flew to Los Angeles, CA to attend her grandsons wedding.
On Tuesday, May 8th, 2018, she visited Universal Studios Hollywood before flying home next day.
Shortly into her USH visit; her feet started hurting. 🦶🏻🦶🏻
Why? 'Cause she ignored the good advice (from her favorite fourth born) to wear her most comfortable shoes for the endless walking that is Universal Studios.
She chose to slip-on her 'cute' flats with zero support instead.
When I returned to shady area where she was resting while family scattered to enjoy rides, I hadn't a clue to what she was talking about when she excitedly described a robot who was poking fun of people in the best way.
While telling me about this amazing robot, she pointed to the two 'machines' currently interacting with crowd and said, "They're cute, but not so funny." They were Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
We relaxed in the shade a short time when, to her delight, her favorite robot returned.
I took her by the hand and said, "Let's go meet him." ✋🏻
While in line, she looked up at me and asked seriously, "Is he a bad guy?"
Holding back my laughter I said, "Yes, would you rather not meet him?"
She hesitantly replied, "I don't know".
I told her it would be fine, a once in a lifetime opportunity to be made fun of by him, something we'd laugh about for years to come.
And we'll have photo proof too 'cause I'll hand my camera to that gatekeeper in fatigues over there.
I had no idea it would go the other way when it was our turn to approach Megatron.
Within the first few seconds of Megatron's interaction with my mom, the quick thinking gate keeper switched my camera from photo mode to video mode.
To those who complained and have yet to complain about 'vertical' video in part one... shut up already.
Had that awesome keeper of the gate not switched to video mode, there'd be no context for video or video to post at all.
After that initial experience with Megatron, we returned to chill-out in shade.
I tried to convince my dad, Jeannine's husband, to go with me to meet Megatron upon his reemergence in next hour.
My dad didn't want to, so I convinced my husband. In turn, he was appropriately renamed, 'The Third Wheel' by the Almighty Megatron.
To those taking issue with finger over lens in part deux of video, here's another friendly 'shut-up-already'. In the excitement, my geriatric dad couldn't see that his finger was over lens as sun glare masked image preview in viewfinder. Jeannine was still in frame. That's all that matters.
Part three of video was birthed when my sister and niece were corralled from another area of park to quickly join line to meet Megatron.
A short time later, we began making the trek to exit park when Jeannine used restroom.
While at sink, someone shouted, "It's Jeannine!" which brought others to cheer for her too.
A few days after leaving California, 'Megatron Likes My Mom' video was posted. And now, it's safe to say, it speaks for itself. ❤️

Jeannine IS special. I have yet to find video evidence or any proof that Megatron interacted with anyone, before or after, like he had with my mom.

Will they meet again? Who knows. God willing, I say yes.
