Incredible 48 Hours at Yosemite National Park!

Yosemite National Park blew us away with its natural landscapes, wild bear encounters, waterfalls and stunning sunsets! Join us for the perfect two days at Yosemite including the best places to stay near Yosemite National Park.

We started off strong with a steep hike up to Vernal Falls on the Mist Trail, which is the same trail used to hike to the top of Half Dome. This hike is definitely a workout, including hundreds of stairs, but it was more than worth it. This is a must-do for your trip to Yosemite.

While picnicking at Vernal Falls we spotted an American Black Bear! We couldn’t believe our eyes as we whipped out our zoom lens to get a better look. This is by far the best way to see bears in Yosemite National Park. What’s better than a wild bear eating berries below a rainbow covered waterfall?!

After completing the hike we stop by the Tunnel View Overlook for some breathtaking views of Yosemite Valley before experiencing the best sunset of our lives at Glacier Point. The views of Half Dome are unreal and this is by far the best place to watch sunset in Yosemite National Park.

Finally, we take you around the tiny town of Groveland, California and show you the best places to stay near Yosemite. Of course we couldn’t end our trip without one more adventure in Yosemite National Park, so we took a quick swim in the Merced River near Happy Isles where we were surprised by another bear encounter!
