CFD-DEM simulation of bore flow and vegetation

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is two-way coupled with the Discrete Element Method (DEM) using ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS Rocky. The simulation results are compared with laboratory experiments of bore flow impacting live salt marsh grass. The video is at 0.5x real life speed.
