King George Whiting

We planned a trip from North Haven to Stansbury in the Bar Crusher 730HT.

The weather come in bad earlier than expected.
We had to make a dash home in the dark for the 64k trip.

Being stranded at sea for1 & a half hours with no steering what so ever.
A fish managed to slip from our hands into the batter well. The fish hit the circuit breaker for the Digital steering. Leaving us with out any steering & a warning log on the CL5 gauge.
With no internet or phone reception & digital steering new to us.
We managed to find the issue after a hour & a half of looking.

We no for future.

We then started to get on to a few nice King George Whiting before it got dark & the wind picked up.

The storm front was coming through earlier than expected. So with being 64ks from home we decided to head in at 10pm.
Unfortunately we was unable to stay for the morning tide.
That is the best time for this spot to fire.
