This recipe is a popular variation of traditional Irish Soda Bread and for good reason, it's simple and slightly sweet. Plus, the promise of tasty bread in 45 minutes is hard to resist. You might know this as Spotted Dog, or simply raisin Irish soda bread. This recipe is SO simple and SO easy to riff on... don't have raisins but you have Craisins? Currants? Dried Apples? *I use a dutch oven here but there are alternatives listed in the video if you don't have one.
