I was in tears listening to Kenya speak about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her mother at the Dallas Women's Expo on May 21, 2019. I am so glad she is a survivor and has accomplished so many great things despite the abuse. There is nothing in this world like the love of a mother and I am so glad she did not allow what she has been through to shape her present and her future.
