【Synopsis】During the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty, Japanese pirates were rampant along China's southeastern coastline. Treacherous prime minister Yan Song monopolized the court politics, neglecting to resist the pirates. Although General Qi Jiguang was determined to serve his country, he found himself powerless in the face of difficulties. In the slaughter by the Japanese pirates, the young Yuekong lost his mother. The Big-foot Monk saved him and took him to the Shaolin Temple, where he became best friends with Yuewen. Fifteen years later, Yuekong came to the Sea Sacrificial Ceremony and encountered the Japanese girl Hideko, who then fell in love with him.
