Boeuf Salad Recipe | Romanian boeuf salad | Romanian Tradition - Salata de boeuf

This Boeuf Salad, also known as Salata de Boeuf in Romania, is a traditional salad made for Easter, Christmas and New Year’s Eve and weddings. It can be served as a side dish, or a meal on its own. You can make it with beef, turkey or chicken, but I like it best made with beef.
Bet you’ve never had this salad before and I can literally say I’ve never had this anywhere else or seen it on any menu. But it is the most traditional salad in Romania for all holidays and special events. The salad is quite delicious and I hope you will try it too.

Ingredients:
6-8 pickles
5 carrots
3 parsnip roots
2 potatoes
1 lb beef
1 tbsp mustard
salt
mayonnaise

Cut carrots and boil them with potatoes for 5 minutes. In a pressure cooker, boil the beef for 10 minutes. Fine chop the pickles.
Add the parsnip to the boiling pot and boil for 5 more minutes. Set aside the veggies and let them cool down. Set aside the beef and let it cool down
fine chop the carrots, parsnips and potatoes. Fine chop the beef as well.
In a bowl mix together all ingredients with salt, mustard and mayonnaise
for a nice presentation decorate with pickle slices, red pepper slices and black olives

Ingrediente:
6-8 castraveți murați
5 morcovi
3 păstârnac
2 cartofi
500 g carne de vită
1 lingură muştar
sare
maioneză

Tăiați morcovii și puneți la fiert cu cartofii, 5 minute. Intr-o oală sub presiune, fierbeți carnea de vită timp de 10 minute. Tocați mărunt castraveții murați. Adăugați păstârnacul în oală și fierbeți încă 5 minute
Puneți deoparte legumele și lasăți-le să se răcească. Puneți deoparte carnea de vită și lăsați-o să se răcească. Tocați mărunt morcovii, păstârnacul și cartofii, de asemenea, tocați mărunt și carnea de vită
Intr-un castron amestecați împreună toate ingredientele cu sare, muștar și maioneză. Pentru o prezentare frumoasă decorați cu felii de castraveți murați, ardei roșu și măsline negre.
