Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Timeline EXPLAINED! Cyberpunk Lore Night City (Cyberpunk 2077 Lore)

Night City is the setting of Cyberpunk 2077. It is located on west coast of the United States in the Free State of Northern California.
In 2077, Night City was voted the "Worst place to live in America" but it didn't start out that way. Night City is the brainchild of Richard Night and he wanted to create a city that other cities would consider the gold standard. Originally the city was called Coronado City and had heavy investments from cyberpunk corporations such as Arasaka, IBM & Petrolchem. Due to some unfortunate events in the Cyberpunk City, Coronado city was changed to Night city and it was controlled by the Mob and powerful corporations. According to the Cyberpunk 2077 Lore, Night city became completely inhabitable due to the high level of radiation that came from a nuke in the fourth corporate war between Arasaka and Millitech.

In Cyberpunk timeline, the cyberpunk 2077 night city lore shows that night city has gone through a lot in a very short amount of time from being built to being destroyed and later being rebuilt again.
