We wanted to pass along our deepest sympathies and condolences to the extended Famous Motel Cowboys family on the passing of Pinto Bennett.
This show's connection with his music derives from our long-standing relationships with Reckless Kelly, Micky and the Motorcars, and the Braun Brothers Reunion Festival.
It all started in 2010 when on our VERY FIRST episode hosted by Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel we had Reckless Kelly on with an album preview of their Pinto Bennett tribute 'Somewhere in Time' followed by an acoustic performance of Pinto's "You Cared Enough to Lie."
