What Tesla Battery Day Means for NIO Investors | NIO OS 2.7.0 & Full Self-Driving Announcement

In this video, I wanted to go over some of the key takeaways from battery day and how it might affect NIO. I'll also be sharing whether i've been buying or selling since this whole correction started at the beginning of September. Tesla introduced a "tabless" battery design to improve their vehicles' power and range. They also announced plans to build their own cathode plant and produce cobalt-free batteries. They also announced that the Model S Plaid will be available for delivery in 2021 at $139,990, which in my opinion was one of the more exciting things that was announced. Elon said that they plan to make the new Model S Plaid vehicle the fastest production vehicle ever!They also announced that they will eventually have an annual production target of 20M vehicles. keep in mind, that the current production rate for NIO is 5,000 vehicles per month or about 60,000 vehicles per year. Tiny in comparison to Tesla's 20M target by 2030 and the last piece of news they announced, which a lot of people were already expecting, was the announcement of the $25k dollar electric vehicle, which in my opinion is very exciting because this really puts the nail in the coffin when it comes to the end of ICE vehicles.
