Welcome to Mieer Travel Tips and your guide to Croatia. Come join us on this adventure tour as we explore the Adriatic Riviera and the beautiful town of Omiš.

Only a short bus ride from the bigger city of Split, Omiš is located at the mouth of the Cetina River on the Adriatic Sea, in the heart of Dalmatia.

With a variety of restaurants featuring Mediterranean cuisine, farmer’s market, clean sandy beaches, river canyons, mountains, fortresses, nearby islands by boat tours, blue sky and aqua marine waters, it makes this a fabulous, full blown vacation destination.

Only a few minutes out of town, we visit the Radmanove Mlinice, a beautiful area on the river that offers hiking trails, a restaurant, and recreational possibilities. The countryside around Omiš is very picturesque and drive-able, scattered with villages, stone homes, and wild fruits and herbs growing everywhere ~ while exploring, we were rewarded with a bounty of St. John’s Wort flowering on a hot day. A nature lover’s dream.
