Easy DIY Rustic Headboard- lighted king headboard tutorial

I had a customer ask me to make up this King Sz rustic headboard. She found this design at Target but they were out of her size and she wanted it white. I was happy and excited to do it! This is a great beginner plan. It’s quick, easy and requires minimal tools.

King size headboard dimensions
61 inches (H) x 81 inches (W) x 4.5” inches (D)

Materials:
5 - 1x6x8 pine boards (cross pieces)
2- 1x6x6 pine boards (posts)
4 - 2x4x8 Doug fir studs (side posts)
2 - 1x2x8 furring strips (side posts)
2 - 2x3x8 studs (back cross pieces)
