Icy Grl Saweetie Tells Us Why She's So High Maintenance

DJ Enuff, DJ Wallah, Melissa Sweets and Navani Knows sat down to interview the "Icy Grl" femcee on the Heavy Hitter show on Shade45. She started rapping at the age of 14, influenced by a young Nicki Minaj and Teedra Moses. After going through a rough patch in her life, she decided to take matters into her own hands and began uploading videos of herself rhyming on Instagram and that's how her single "Icy Girl" went viral. A USC college graduate, Saweetie brings intelligent lyrics to her rhymes in hopes of empowering women. She's currently signed to Warner Bros. Music and has a new EP on the way appropriately titled "High Maintenance" set to drop this month in March.
