Diving The Canyon and Blue Hole, Dahab, Egypt

We did a two tank dive a little north of the Egyptian town of Dahab at "The Canyon" and the infamous "Blue Hole". The Blue Hole has a reputation of drawing divers into its depths, never to return to the surface. There are tombstones near the entrance of the dive site listing names of those that have lost their lives. We did a drift dive from "The Bells" (so named because of the sound your scuba tank makes if you clang them on the side of the rocks... I rang mine a few times.) to the Blue Hole. We also shared a ride back with a nice Israeli couple that informed me that peace is possible in the Middle East through scuba diving :)
