Star Trek TMP 41st Anniversary - The New Enterprise (A Star Trek Fan Animation)

Ever since I was a kid this scene has been one of the biggest influences in my life. I remembered being inspired when the music swelled as the Enterprise flashed on the screen and we finally got to see the ship in its full beauty and since then I've always wanted to recreate it. Nothing can replace the beauty of the original scene along with all it genius and flaws, but I'd like to think I've been able to create a faithful homage to the original.(Pardon the banding at the beginning, Youtube compression messes up the quality.)

While I took a few creative liberties with light placement and such I tried to keep everything down to the exact length of the shots the same, even down the the high orbit angle of the Enterprise (even though the position varied in the original.) The Enterprise and Drydock models were made by me in 3ds Max, textured in Substance Painter with Photoshop/ Illustrator, and compiled in Premiere/ After Effects.
