I spent 3 months volunteering in Tanzania and some crazy things happened...

[I am now aware of the potentially negative impacts that come from volunteering in countries like Tanzania. When I signed up for this trip, I was not. However I feel the work we did was beneficial to the local community through its emphasis on long-standing benefits as opposed to purely emotional and temporary ones]
