Every town of Hungary has its markets within the city center where locals bring their farming produce for sale. Framer markets are extremely popular in Hungary.

Of all the cities that I have visited in Europe, I have noticed the local markets of it. During the weekends, it might even be a special market, as locals use the market space for showcasing the handicrafts and artwork for sale. On my latest trip to Szentendre, I witnessed amazing colorful markets of the locals including jewelry, clothes, artwork, perfume, etc for purchase. The markets hold fresh produce of the farmers mainly the seasonal fruits of Hungary. Not to forget paprika which is hugely loved in Hungary. All kinds of local fruits and vegetables. You can also find fish, meat, and dairy products. it's like a one-stop go for locals.
