Examples of Good, Rough and Safe Dog Play
Socialization and play are important and frequently overlooked aspects to a well balanced dog. Most owners are usually too skittish to allow their dogs to interact off leash and therefore never get the chance to frolic and play. This is especially true with Pit Bulls, and other so-called "bully" breeds, who enjoy rough physical play but never get the chance since to get an output. While there is some growling, neck nibbling and the occasional yelp, so long as it is refereed and not allowed to get too out of control, this is one of the best exercise and energy burning activities a dog can take part in.
