The chick is all alone

I don’t know how a hummingbird family works. The mommy bird and the sibling were out of sight for days now. This poor chick is still perching next to the nest. I’ll bet the mommy still comes back to feed it or else it should have been lying dead on the ground by now. Filmed on Juneteenth, 2021.
