Moral Story For Kids in English | The Bat, the Birds and the Beasts | Animal & Jungle Story

In a forest, there were beasts and birds living together. The Lion was the king of the beasts and the Eagle was the king of the birds.
As the days passed by, the beasts of the land started quarreling with the birds of the sky.
A coward bat watched the fight to see which side would win.
He wanted to safely be part of the team that would win. He waited in hiding to see who would win and when he saw the beasts win, he decided to hide his wings and went in search of King Lion.

One day, Gugu saw that this bat was suddenly missing and was to be seen nowhere.
He asked his friend, the fox as to where the bat had gone, the fox told him what had happened.

A few days ago, when the bat found King Lion, he bowed low before him and said, "Your Majesty, since I resemble a land creature, and almost look like a rat, please allow me to join the beasts of the land".
King Lion on seeing that what bat said made sense, permitted him to join the beasts group.
After some days, there was another fight between the beasts and the birds. This time, the birds won.
Soon, the bat went to meet Eagle, the king of the birds. The bat unfurled its wings and requested Eagle to include him in the birds family as he was also a bird.
The Eagle agreed and permitted the bat to be a bird henceforth.
The fights between the beasts and the birds continued endlessly. Every time a different team won, this bat would go and join that team. This continued time and again.
While the bat thought no one was noticing all this, all the birds and beasts kept watching the cowardness of this bat silently.ords. Thus the bat had no choice but fly off to a dark and lonely cave. One fine day; the fights finally came to an end and there was peace in the entire forest. The Lion told Eagle that from then on, the beasts and birds were one family and the Eagle readily accepted it. All the birds and the beasts were happy making merry with each other. The coward bat, however, was not welcomed by either side. They said that they did not want to do anything with someone of its kind and persuaded the King to send him out of the forest. So the King called for the bat and asked him to leave the forest. The bat pleaded with the King to reconsider his decision but he would not take back his word

Gugu also agreed that it is important to stand ground for what one believes in and have the courage to withstand no matter what
