The copter lifted from the ground and, having performed a turn-around hovering flight, pitch and roll motion, it landed. The maiden flight took place at the ‘Progress’ plant in the Far Eastern Primorsk region.
The Ka-62 is a transport and passenger helicopter designed to haul freight, provide emergency medical assistance, aerial work and inspections. It can be used in the oil and gas industry, for rescue operations and corporate needs.
