VW Golf/Passat/Touran/Polo Mirror Glass Wobbling/Shaking/Moving Vibration-Fixing Loose Fallen Off

If the mirror glass on your car is wobbling or moving when the housing isn't then the chances are that the mirror glass is separating from the backing plate and likely to come off. On my VW Passat the glass started vibrating and fell off on the motorway before I could fix it. I bought a new mirror glass for £4 on eBay and this video shows how to attach it to the car and fit the mirror. This is the same on the VW Golf, Polo, Touran, Sharan and Jetta
