Happy 2024 New Year Greetings Pop-up Card

Happy New Year and Best Wishes to All!
I hope your 2023 was good - I wish you an even better 2024!

I designed this card last night using the mechanism I created for the last spread of my Movable Calligrams pop-up book. It's an innovative curve mechanism that does twisting, 45° display and a floating effect, full of cool possibilities. For last year's card I had crafted a complex arrangement of several successive a-pop-up-inside-a-pop-up, so this year it's more design-oriented. And fully crafted with scraps of paper also (I've just finished making one XL Night Steps pop-up book), so white and night blue.

J'ai fabriqué cette carte hier soir en utilisant un système que j'ai créé pour la dernière double-page de mon livre pop-up Calligrammes Animés. C'est un système innovant en courbe qui permet torsion, présentation à 45° et un effet flottant, plein de possibilités intéressantes. Pour la carte de l'an dernier j'avais réalisé un arrangement complexe de plusieurs pop-ups imbriqués successifs, donc cette année elle est plus orientée "design". Et entièrement fabriquée avec des chutes de papier également (je viens de terminer un exemplaire XL de Night Steps), donc blanc et bleu nuit.

Quoi qu'il en soit, une excellente année 2024 !
