Composting Horse Manure (Excellent Garden Soil Amendment)

With 5 horses and 3 miniature horses, we get about 800 lbs of manure each month. Our goal is to compost all of it and then use it in our garden spring and fall, and sell it as well. We sell it after it has been composted and turned into rich, sweet smelling soil. That can take 9-12 months if we don't turn it often; and as little as 2-3 months from spring through fall if we are turning it, aerating it and keep the right moisture content for a good heat up. Maximum should be 150-160 degrees.
