Hezbollah leader warns of wider Middle East conflict if Gaza assault continues | ABC News

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has blamed the US as "entirely responsible" for the current war in Gaza and warned of a wider conflict in the Middle East, in his first address since Hamas terrorists conducted the October 7 attack.

Many expected Nasrallah to use the broadcast to announce his group’s next moves but instead condemned Israel’s attacks. Terrorism lecturer Dr Mariam Farida says there is still a possibility of a full-scale war.

Dr Farida says Nasrallah's first broadcast address during the Israel-Gaza war was "calculated" and "constrained".
