NANOWRIMO (or National Novel Writing Month) started as people all around the world coming together in the month of November to write 50,000 word novels in 30 days. It's now expanded to include 2 Camps (in April and July) and my personal favorite, the Young Writers Program. NaNoWriMo is all about cultivating creativity, challenging yourself, and encouraging others. I've made SO MANY friends and written several novels through NaNoWriMo since I started participating (when I was a kid in the 7th grade!).
