How To Turn Off @followers and @highlights Mention On Facebook?

Facebook has recently introduced an option to bulk mention your followers at once. If you put up a post on Facebook that is either a question or something like a poll where you want to know other's opinion or need their help, you can mention ALL of your followers/friends at once by using the @followers or @highlights tag.

If you use this type of mention, you don't have to mention each one of your friends or followers separately. But they will be notified that they have been tagged by you!

However, since this feature was introduced, we can say that it is being abused by people who simply want their posts to have better reach or they want more people to see their profile.

If you are being flooded by this kind of tag notifications, here's how to turn them off for good!
