A moment for fashion by ally’s mama 👯‍♀️ should we do a part 2?!

💌 What inspired me to work in the fashion industry?! ✨
Growing up my mom sewed all of my clothes. From patterned dresses, rain jackets, to furry faux leopard coats - she made it all! I remember the fabric scraps, singer sewing machine, colorful thread, measuring tape, and chalk around her work station. I’m not sure when
she found time to do this - probably between taking me to school, working her dim sum shift or cooking dinner. Looking back now, I didn’t fully appreciate her clothes as much as I should have because I just wanted to look like every other kid. 👩‍👧

I love fashion because it’s a form of self expression. Clothes help elevate my mood and boost my confidence. Even on my toughest days, a pretty floral dress really goes a long way. But sometimes it doesn’t always fit perfectly, so I love sharing useful tips and hacks you can use on your own wardrobe.
