Captain's Weekly Fishing Report Sept. 19, 2024

This week we searched for the false albacore and the spanish mackerel on Friday we did manage to find the spanish mac's while the cocktail blues were blowing up all day! Good black sea bass fishing in our area and we saw a huge pod of dolphin cruise through. On Saturday Anton and Anton Jr. joined us for their third trip this season and we did some fun bottom fishing for black sea bass and then on Sunday Kara, Dan, Parker Max, Lilly and Papa Doug joined us for an epic adventure. Papa Doug started the day in the back bay throwing for some stripers showing off his fishing skills to his grandkids with no takers on top water. We moved out to our fishing grounds just a few minutes from the harbor and 4 year old Lilly stole the show using a small dock runner ugly stick rod that was perfect for her. All the kids did great and out fished the parents as usual. They landed over 100 fish on the trip including Porgy, Fluke, Black Sea Bass, Blowfish, Spot (aka Croaker), and 1 Sea Robin.
