Students from P.S. 154 in Queens sing "For Good" at the 2025 ETM Gala

Students from P.S. 154 and the Queens School of Inquiry performed together as the ETM Community Choir on May 15, 2025 at the Education Through Music 2025 Gala "Making Minds Sing!" at 583 Park Avenue. Here they are singing a moving rendition of "For Good."

The celebratory event brought together supporters, advocates, and community leaders in celebration of the transformative power of music in education.

Founded in 1991, Education Through Music (ETM) is a nonprofit organization that has provided over 8 million hours of music education in NYC public schools. ETM promotes the use of music as a means of enhancing students' academic performance and general development. By providing year-long, in-school music education programs with a dedicated staff of teachers and support management, ETM makes music education a reality for thousands of underserved children who would otherwise have limited or no exposure to music instruction at school.
