Front vs. Top Liquid Cooler Installation - feat. Deepcool Castle 280EX and be quiet Pure Base 500DX

In this video, I'll show you how to install the Deepcool Castle 280EX AIO liquid CPU cooler either in the front or the top of the be quiet! Pure Base 500DX mid-tower chassis, using the AMD AM4 platform. Then I'll run the benchmarks to show you which setup you should actually choose. I'm going to bust some myths about the best way to mount, and in fact to test, an AIO liquid CPU cooler. Yup, everyone else is wrong, especially with regard to "delta from ambient" results so many reviewers have been fooling you with! Want to understand the physics? Here you go:

The further the initial temperature is from ambient, the faster a cooler will work and the more effective it becomes. The cooling rate asymptotically approaches zero as the temperature of the object approaches ambient. No matter how many coolers you have to test, or how many years of data you want to represent on the same graph, there's no excuse for blatantly ignoring the laws of physics.
