Sperm whale 'phonetic alphabet' of song discovered by scientists

Sperm whales may be capable of more complex communication than previously thought using clicks and rhythms similar to human language, according to new research.

Scientists believe artificial intelligence will one day help them learn to communicate with the whales in the same way. If successful, it would be the first time that humans have spoken with another species.
