CompilerSutra #1: Why Compilers Make Sense (and Aren't as Scary as You Think)
Welcome to the first live session of CompilerSutra.
This is a beginner friendly series designed to help you understand compilers in a clear and practical way, starting from the basics and building up gradually.
In this session
We will discuss why compilers often feel difficult to learn and how understanding the reason behind each step can make the whole process much clearer.
Topics we will touch on
What a compiler actually does in simple terms
How your code is transformed into something a computer can run
Why compilers use IR Intermediate Representation and why it is so important
No previous compiler experience is required. Everything will be explained step by step.
Sessions will be held every Sunday with one focused topic per week. We will take our time to make sure each idea is clear.
Subscribe and turn on notifications to be notified about future live streams.
Please comment below and let me know
What is the most confusing part of compilers for you Is it LLVM GPU compilers AI compilers or something else I will address your questions in future sessions.
Follow or subscribe to CompilerSutra for
Clear and simple explanations of compiler concepts
Real world examples from CPU GPU and AI compilers
Understanding how MLIR connects different types of compilers
Practical insights from daily work with LLVM and real compiler systems
Let us learn compilers together in a way that makes sense.
