I realized I've never talked about my double helix piercing before, mostly because I've talked about my single one; there really wasn't much to say on my double helix, other than my experience with it to this point.

When healing and cleaning a piercing, make sure you use a salt soak, whether it's one you purchase (like H2Ocean) or one you make. If you make one, make sure you use 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized salt with 1 cup of warm water (1/8 teaspoon if 1/4 irritates your skin too much). Proper care can make for a much better healing process.
