Thousands Attend St. Thomas ‘Dukrana’ Feast in Qatar

The ‘Dukrana’ feast of St. Thomas the Apostle was celebrated with deep devotion at St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Church, Qatar, on July 3rd. The solemn Rasa Qurbana was led by Fr. Jose Thachukunnel OFM Cap, the parish’s first vicar, joined by Rev. Biju Madhavath and Rev. Thomas Poriyath. Thousands of faithful participated in the Qurbana, Ladeenju (a liturgical service comprising prayers, songs and litany), and the procession carrying the saint’s relic, honoring the apostle who brought Christianity to India. The celebration concluded with a love feast, bringing the parish community together in prayer, remembrance, and joyful fellowship.
