Why is community so central to following Jesus? In this second installment of our "Rhythms" sermon series, Sean explores the core value of Christian Community. While we often look to Acts 2 for a picture of everyday life together, Sean takes us back a chapter to Acts 1—the Ascension of Jesus.

Unpacking the significance of the Ascension, Sean helps us see Jesus not just as a Saviour who died, but as a glorious, victorious, and reigning King. Because we serve an ascended King, our primary task as the church is to be the visible witness to His invisible kingdom.

Living in the tension of the "already but not yet," we discover that the primary way the world sees God's kingdom breaking out is through a flawed, humble, empowered, and unified community.
