In part 2 of our guide we visit, Bourton on the Water, this stunning village has been described as the little venice of the Cotswolds.
There is plenty to see, eat and do including birdland, a small bird zoo with a collection of penguins, a model railway, perfumary and factory and our highlight the Cotswolds Motor and Toy museum.

The Slaughters are two cute villages sometimes missed by visitors and are the jewel in the crown of the area.
Lower Slaughter has some lovely walks and this peaceful location boasts some of the most picture perfect cottages and photgenic locations in the Cotswolds. The old mill is a highlight dating back to the 10th century and offering tours, a cafe and craft shop.

Upper Slaughter is a real sleepy village a mile from Lower Slaughter and linked by the river. You can walk along the river between the two villages it takes about 25 minutes, but it can be muddy if the weather has been bad.

Newark Park was a 15th century hunting lodge from time of Henry VIII. Set in 700 acres of stunning parkland you can visit the house and grounds and learn about its facinating past and view some of the tudor style.

Chipping Campden
This glorious market town. It is notable for its elegant terraced High Street, dating from the 14th century to the 17th century

Broadway Tower
Historic folly, by Capability Brown, with exhibitions and links to the Arts and Craft Movement. Great for a walk around and stunning views over the rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
