Background: I was helping a stall owner on the day of the festival. It was an 8 hour day. I come out to exit the building after the stall had closed to see this in the outside area. It warmed my heart and made me tear up with joy. This symbolises more than people getting a bit tipsy and singing. This symbolises freedom from harsh lockdowns. Also, relaxed mask rules, which were announced the night before the festival. We can see people's faces again. We can feel joy and hope for the future for the first time in almost two years. We can be social and see people out and about. We can see light at the end of the tunnel. Things are feeling normal again.
