Can Nylon Be Better Fabric Than Cashmere?

In this video series I interview different fashion designers to discuss what high quality fabrics, construction and garment quality really is. I wanted to make this series because luxury fashion is on the rise but I think these brands have been getting away with selling subpar products because consumers are not educated on what quality they should be expecting after buying an expensive clothing item, bag, pair of shoes & more.

In this episode I interview Traiceline Pratt, a Central Saint Martins MA womenswear design student. He specialises in outerwear and I wanted to pick his brain about misconceptions drawn around fabrics regularly used in outerwear like polyester and nylon. Clothing quality comes in a wide range of quality levels, even with use of the same fabric.
