Short film of my trip to Fairmount, IN - James Dean's hometown for the James Dean Festival & memorial held every end of September. I wanted to convey a sense of awe & somber tone with this video. Although it is always a celebration of his life, it was bittersweet for me as I have officially come full circle (literally by using a clip in this video of the last James Dean video I made around 2006) - I was the first one to upload a video of James Dean to YouTube in 2005 under my first account named after Jimmy. Because of James Dean I discovered my love of video/film editing & telling stories through film. I created videos on Jimmy & anyone who inspired me, especially on Old Hollywood. YouTube has grown a lot since then & I love to see all tribute videos (that's what I called them) on here on Old Hollywood actors & actresses.
I had the honor to attend the memorial service and honor of helping place Naomi's cranes on Jimmy's headstone.
