5 Reasons to AVOID The Apple Card (2021 Credit Card Review)

With so many great credit card options available, the Apple Card is probably not the best credit card for most people in 2021 due to its lack of benefits and poor cash back. In this review of the Apple Credit Card, I talk about 5 reasons why it is not worth it and should be avoided. I personally think that Apple is sort of up to no good with the Apple Card due to the credit score that they target and the overall benefits you get with it.

You should know that even though it is a cool metal credit card, you should never take the Apple Card out of your wallet, or you will be missing out on cash back which I explain in this review video. I also think that you have to factor in the lack of a welcome bonus, so I talk about my thought process around this as well.

Since you can only get the Apple Card if you already have an iPhone, this just goes to show that Apple is further trying to keep you in their ecosystem with this. They also do by giving you a really nice app to use to track all of your purchases on your Apple Card, even though you can’t track any of your other credit cards or accounts on this app.

Overall, the Apple Card may be a good option for some since there is no annual fee and it can earn 2% cash back through Apple Pay which is paid out daily to you. But other than that, there are not very many positive benefits for the Apple Card compared to other credit cards on the market. These are just my thoughts and I will probably not be getting this card anytime soon unless there are significant changes.
