What Lies Beneath Albania’s Communist Hill in Korçë

An immersive experience exploring an architectural intervention at the Communist Martyrs’ Cemetery hill in Korçë, Albania.

This thesis proposal confronts the layered history of control, memory, and forgetting embedded in the site. Through animated architectural renders, the project reveals a hidden architectural truth beneath the existing monument.

Designed as both memorial and critique, the proposal asks: How can architecture reveal what we’ve been psyoped to forget?
